In just over 2 months I'll be turning 30.
It's one of those holy moly I'm an actual adult now moments. It's real, it's happening. I'm an adult. Though I do feel like that when I have to do adult things like pay bills, take myself to the Doctor and make sure I eat vegetables - there's a feeling of whoa with turning 30.
Mum said no one really looks forward to turning 30. And I guess where I am to where I thought I would be, are 2 different things. Life throws curve balls and I'm learning to make peace with that, let go and love this single-and-not-looking-after-little-people part of my life.
As one day, I'll have little tackers chasing behind me and I'll look back and think of this as a really amazing, footloose and care free time.
And part of that is celebrating my 30th in style! I'm hosting a garden-themed party and the above painting is the artwork for the invites.
Are you turning 30 soon and can relate? Or are over 30 and have some perspective to share? I'd love to hear it. Leave a comment below, lovely.
