Day to day things that make me smile:
when bus/tram/train drivers toot and wave at each other as they go past
seeing our elderly Italian neighbour perfectly maintaining his front yard by trimming his fruit trees by the leaf and sweeping the footpath
chatting with Jenny our local milk bar lady about swing dancing and her kids
overhearing the questions young children ask their parents and what the parents say in return
anyone that brings their personality to the job they're in; the tram arrival announcer that sings songs on the microphone, the barista with impeccable wit
children sitting on their dad's shoulders
a little cruel, but when kids have an ice-cream and it falls off the cone and the tears that ensue
when old couples hold hands
watching dogs chase each other in the park
Talking about cute things, my exhibition is coming up!! Pg 2 café (207 Swan St, Richmond VIC) for the month of May.
I'll be taking over the main wall of the café and covering it with as much work as I can. There'll be framed original and giclée printed art pieces, in both acrylic and watercolour including the biggest piece I've ever done.
Keep those pretty eyes of yours peeled on my facebook and Insta channels for the exact day it'll be launched.
So love, what are your favourite day to day things you see that make you smile? Comment below and dazzle my eardrums.
